Zoe Young
About Me!
Zoe Young is a New York City-born and bred actress from the Bronx. Her love for acting awakened in fifth grade when she had the honor of playing Donkey in her school’s production of Shrek the Musical, and from then on there was no looking back. She currently studies acting at NYU Tisch School of the Arts where she has spent her training at Atlantic Acting School with a minor in producing. Additionally, she completed a semester at Stonestreet Studios and will be headed to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, studying Shakespeare through NYU’s study abroad program. One of her favorite performance experiences was portraying Antigone in her studio's production of Antigone, a role that resonated deeply due to the text’s emotional richness and complexity, experiencing both empowerment and creative fulfillment. Her artistic pursuits include both film and theatre and she is most interested in subverting expectations by taking on roles that contrast her seemingly warm and charismatic nature. She desires to push past her comfort zone and inhabit characters with deep complexity, often exploring traits and emotional landscapes far removed from her own. Whether navigating tender human connection or diving into the darker corners of the human psyche, she is committed to telling stories that surprise and resonate.
